13 Feb 6th Mediterranean Forest Week and the Paris Agreement
Chadi Mohanna explains why the 6th Mediterranean Forest Week taking place in Lebanon in early April 2019 is so important for the region and the sustainable management of its forest resources. A recognized, broad multi- stakeholder platform, each MFW has had a particular focus, and in Lebanon it will be the Paris Agreement. MFW6 also aims to raise the pro!le of Mediterranean forests, highlighting their important social signi!cance for the Mediterranean populations and countries and their central role in developing resilience in addressing climate change.
